Clear guidelines for a comfortable, safe, and beautifully planned session.​​

1. Booking, payment, and pricing

• A 50% non-refundable booking advance is required to reserve your date and slot.

• The remaining balance must be paid on or before the day of the shoot.

• Package prices are fixed unless a written custom quotation has been shared.

• Package inclusions are limited to what is listed in your selected package. Any extra request or add-on is chargeable.

2. Rescheduling and cancellation

• One reschedule may be accommodated with at least 7 days' notice, subject to availability.

• For pregnancy, newborn, illness, or genuine emergencies, we will make every reasonable effort to offer another suitable date.

• Late cancellations, no-shows, or repeated rescheduling may require a new booking advance.

3. Arrival time and session duration

• Please arrive on time. You may arrive up to 10 minutes early and wait briefly, if needed, while we prepare the studio.

• Late arrival may reduce available shoot time, outfits, setups, or photographs possible.

• A grace period of up to 30 minutes may be allowed where possible, but it is part of your reserved appointment time.

• Makeup and hairstyling time, where included, forms part of the total session duration. Extra time is chargeable and depends on studio availability.

4. Family members and studio conduct

• Your package includes only the booked parents, the baby/child being photographed, and the baby's own brother or sister.

• Cousins, uncles, aunts, grandparents, friends, and other relatives are additional family members and are chargeable.

• For newborn sessions, only one or two additional members apart from parents may attend, with prior approval.

• Extra attendees should remain away from the active shoot area unless requested by our team. Parents are responsible for supervising older children and guests.

• Any damage, breakage, or loss caused to studio items by clients, children, or guests will be chargeable. Photography or video recording inside the studio is not permitted without prior approval.

5. Maternity sessions: gowns, styling, makeup, and hair

• Please review our gown catalogue and shortlist your preferred looks before the session. We will assist with sizing and availability.

• Gown trials are limited to two options so the session can begin on time.

• Your own casual dress, saree, or traditional outfit counts as one outfit/setup within your package allowance.

• Makeup and hairstyling are included only where stated in the selected maternity package. They generally take 45 minutes to 1 hour; extensive requests, extra changes, or delays may reduce shooting time.

6. Maternity and newborn session timing

• Maternity sessions are best scheduled between 27 and 30 weeks of pregnancy.

• Please do not wait for your belly to grow larger. Posing, gowns, lighting, and photography are designed to enhance your pregnancy; minor belly enhancement may be considered in suitable images.

• Newborn sessions are ideally done between 10 and 21 days after birth.

7. Newborn safety and baby supplies

• Baby safety, comfort, feeding, sleep, and health always come before a pose, prop, setup, or requested image.

• Our team will guide newborn posing and settling. Parents may be asked to assist with feeding, burping, diaper changes, or soothing whenever needed.

• Please bring feeding supplies, diapers/nappies, wipes, extra clothes, blankets, burp cloths, medication, and a pacifier. A pacifier may be used briefly when necessary to safely soothe a cranky baby.

• Some poses may not be possible depending on your baby's comfort, health, alertness, or cooperation. Please tell us beforehand about allergies, medical conditions, feeding concerns, or skin sensitivities.

8. Image selection, editing, and delivery

• Medium-resolution, unedited JPEG previews for selection may take up to one week after the shoot. Camera RAW files are not provided.

• Only images selected within your package will be professionally edited.

• Final edited photographs are delivered as high-resolution JPEG files within 4-5 weeks from final selection. The complete process may take approximately 5-6 weeks from the shoot date.

• Extra edited images are INR 750 per image. Value bundles may be available. Priority delivery may be available at an additional charge, subject to workload.

9. Memories Lane editing style

• Final images are edited in the natural, refined Memories Lane Photography style: flattering colours, natural skin retouching, and timeless photographs rather than heavy or artificial editing.

• Minor slimming, double-chin reduction, or small touch-ups may be considered, depending on the pose, angle, lighting, and photograph.

• Changes to height, body structure, or complexion are not provided. Preview images are for selection only and must not be edited, filtered, printed, or shared publicly.

10. Albums, frames, and locations

• Albums, frames, and printed products are included only where listed in your package. Check names, dates, spellings, and images carefully before album approval.

• Production takes approximately 4 weeks after final layout approval. Changes cannot be made once production begins.

• Home shoot charges are additional and generally range from INR 5,000-10,000, depending on distance, travel time, and requirements.

• Outdoor, destination, outstation, and location-based sessions are quoted separately based on travel, stay, permits, entry fees, and venue requirements.

11. Copyright and agreement

• Memories Lane Photography retains copyright to all photographs and videos. Clients may use final delivered images for personal sharing, printing, and personal social media.

• Images may not be sold, used commercially, altered by third parties, or used in advertising without written permission.

• Unless a written privacy restriction is agreed before the shoot, selected images or videos may be used in our portfolio, website, social media, studio displays, and promotional material.
